Flowerchild of the 60s and 70s? Love a bit of retro styling but don’t want to look like you’re visiting from yesteryear on your wedding day? Oh, we have you covered. Today, let us introduce you to the Daalarna Couture “Rush” Wedding capsule collection.

Inspired by the wedding fashion of the 60s and 70s, this is a collection all about retro styling, married with the so on-trend concept of little weddings.  Designer Anita Benes chiming in “We have many who have been organizing international weddings with guests from many different countries and, because of the current travel bans, they do not want to take the risk of having the party this year. At the same time, they don’t necessarily want to wait years to get married, so they divide the wedding into two parts by quickly organizing a small, civil ceremony in the presence of the closest family and friends, while the big wedding is postponed or even totally cancelled.” And so “Rush” was born, for the intimate, the courthouse, the elopement  (and quite frankly, they suit any pre or post-wedding celebration too!).

With eight beautiful outfits, from two piece mini skirt suits to lace adorned jumpsuits, sparkling beaded mini dresses and tailored pantsuits. Each with the same luxe design and quality we all adore from Daalarna.

Anita adding “I was inspired by 60s and 70s bridal fashion when women did not dream about princess style wedding dresses. From this era, the wedding dresses of Bianca Jagger, Yoko Ono, Mia Farrow and Audrey Hepburn reveal a characteristic, non-traditional sense of style without giving up on craftsmanship and elegance.” And it goes right back to the fact your wedding can be whatever you want it to be – we’re just glad there are plenty more options that make that happen!
