There is a lot of magic, a lot of romance in the days of yesteryear, and if you are a lover of vintage, just like us, then bring on all the vintage vibes in the Blue Mountains engagement of Samantha and Andrew today.

Captured by De Lumiere Photography, these two lovers (along with photographer Sarah of course!) decided that the very best place for their photos? Would be to pay homepage to the groom’s love of trains, by shooting at Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum. Says Samantha “Trains are a huge part of Andrew’s life and I wanted to bring that to some aspect of the wedding process. I also love the vintage style so it made a lot of sense to do a vintage style shoot at the local train museum.”

After meeting on the school bus in high school, it wasn’t long before these two fell head over heels for one another. Andrew popping the question after a romantic dinner out. “Andrew took me out to dinner then proposed afterwards when I walked through the door to our house and found rose petals all over the floor.”

On what these two love about one another, Samantha shares “We love the support we give each other and the fact that we can be our weird quirky selves with no judgment.”
