There really is nothing quite like the beauty of the Australian countryside. And today’s editorial brings to life the quiet, the peacefulness of rural Queensland property Bunnyconnellen and the juxtaposition of beautiful romantic details in tones of blush and peach. Captured by Fennel & Fern, alongside True North Films on film today’s dream team was headed up by wedding planners and stylists Storybook and Co who dreamt up the concept.
Says photographer Anita “We wanted to create a romantic setting that was reminiscent of old-world Europe, but also keeping it modern enough to be relatable to today”. The whole setting, and look was a true collaboration. After our “newlyweds” dived into an epic grazing board from SP Grazing Co, they dined at their intimate reception. Furniture pieces from Vintage Gray sweet in the middle of the farm, the wooden table, styled by Prop It Pretty, topped with sparkling candles from Southern Lights Candle Co of grey and blush in brass candleholders, set amongst cut crystal glassware and neutral-toned crockery, alongside paper pieces by Blossie. Cat of Woods & Bloom pulling the look together with peach and blush-toned blooms, which even topped the grand two-piece wedding cake designed by Cake House. “We kept the styling relatively simple, as we wanted to create a look that is not only inspiring but also achievable for potential future clients” shares Anita.
Our bride, model Chanel Starr, was dressed by the pro team at White Lily Couture, her soft curls styled by Glam Hair by Tamara with makeup by Dani Flint MUA. Groom James Olsen, wore a classic black suit and white shirt from Black Jacket Suiting, keeping his look classic and styled, but a little relaxed for the country setting.
We’re so lucky to have such beautiful backdrops for a wedding in Australia, and every image of this styled shoot shows just how to make the most of it. Which idea do you adore the most?
