If there is one thing I can invite you to pour over in the Fall 2021 collection of Tel-Aviv designer Eisen-Stein it’s the detail. Look closely at the beading, dream away with the appliqué, look how the lines form, the patterns evolve. This? It’s a collection that is stunningly beautiful, and it is the detail that holds the key of magic.

And the collection itself? Designer Yael, who designed it through COVID-19, and came up against challenge after challenge as the world shut down, including the embroidery suppliers and factory she uses, calls it her miracle. “Through this global challenge, it’s essential to align with what brings us joy such as art, nature, and creation. There is a gift within every day that we can discover gratitude for.”

Yael began the design of these pieces with a simple floral sketch, each gown embracing the very same spirit, that came to mean so much to her as she pushed to get the collection created, despite a pandemic.

There is “Hope” with a plunging V neckline, delicate cap sleeves and bow waist detail, that is beaded and touched with stunning floral detail, “Faith” who brings in beaded, sparkling leaves and flowers over a sheer illusion bodice, “Grace” with her strapless silhouette,  beautifully detailed floral fabric, and one that is sure to be a favourite “Wonder”, a midi strapless dress (just the ticket for a garden occasion or a reception gown) which embodies the floral detail in a fun and flirty way.

After all, as we head into a brand new year, what else do we need than a little magic, a little tale of overcoming challenge after challenge? A little nod that this year is so full of promise.
