We’ve spent all month long talking city weddings. From styling to tips to, well – everything in between and today, we wanted to show off one of our favourite city wedding settings by rounding up amazing Australian rooftop wedding venues.

Rooftops practically come with their own decor for your wedding, the city buildings providing a beautiful and oh so modern backdrop for vows, for dancing, for celebration, for cocktails. Tonic House, Melbourne

This city rooftop has such amazing urban style surrounded by Melbourne skyscrapers. The breathtaking views from this rooftop make this the most amazing spot for a wedding, the space able to hold 200 guests and has an adjacent cellar space for a more intimate feel.

The Gilli Rooftop, Sydney

With grand views of Sydney Harbour, The Gilli Rooftop is set within the beautiful Taronga Zoo. The space brings to life 180-degree views over the harbour and is just the ticket for a ceremony or reception with all that beautiful rooftop style you dream of.

Siglo, Melbourne

There is beautiful old Italian style when it comes to Melbourne’s Siglo Bar. The rooftop space, right in the heart of the city is surrounded by period architecture and has a stunning historic feel to it. it’s available for breakfast of lunch weddings and has a capacity of 150 for cocktails. Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, Adelaide

Just as the name suggests, the garden on Majestic Roof Garden Hotel’s rooftop is a sight to behold. This space, just right for your cocktail wedding or intimate ceremony offers beautiful views and all the rooftop style you need.

Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney

Stunning rooftop wedding venue for Sydney couples, Museum of Contemporary Art.  There are multiple spaces here for functions that all offer breathtaking Sydney city views. The sculpture terrace, the Quayside room and the Harbourside room all available for functions and all offering celebrations in beautiful rooftop wedding style. Brisbane Powerhouse Rooftop Terrace, Brisbane

Balmy summer days are just the ticket for the rooftop spaces of Brisbane Powerhouse. With both the Riverbend and Rooftop spaces available for your ceremony or reception, the options are aplenty and the view over the water divine. Aloft Hotel,  Perth

The roof terrace at Queensland’s Gallery of Modern Art is a beautiful combination of modern architecture with beautiful urban style The undercover space with amazing city views has a capacity of 200 for cocktails or 180 for sit down celebrations.

Hadiqa, Perth

If you want to kick off your wedding day with a beautiful rooftop ceremony, then check out Perth’s Hadiqa’s Shurifa rooftop. Small & intimate ins style, this space is coupled within the Hadiqa building, so you can move from rooftop ceremony to cocktail ab reception with ease. The Moroccan inspired menu and inner-city garden oasis providing a stunning combination.

One Farrer, Sydney

Sydney city dreamers rejoice, because One Farrer, is here to deliver. Overlooking the city skyscrapers, this open-air rooftop space is just the ticket for your rooftop wedding. The space is in the heart of the city and can accommodate 120 guests standing.

The Island Rooftop, Gold Coast

Get all the rooftop vibes you’ll need at Gold Coast venue The Island Rooftop. The stunning outdoor space set on level 12 has killer skyline views and also overlooks the Gold Coast Main beach. The outdoor area is adjacent to an indoor space for total flexibility.

Le Ciel, Melbourne

We’re loving the intimate vibe of this rooftop space Le Ciel. This is our pick for an intimate wedding reception dinner with its stunning city views. The space can hold 70 for a sit down function, and the space is beautifully private, giving you your own very special occasion.

Beachside Dojo, Sydney

Want a rooftop with a seaside view? Meet Manly’s Beachside Dojo. The beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the beach. The beautiful space has Japanese architecture inspired touches and the main space Sunrise Dojo can accommodate up to 150 guests. See it in action here.

Hello Opera house views! Cruise Bar, has to have one of the most iconic outlooks in Sydney. The indoor-outdoor rooftop space is sure to blow your guests away with its location. The size of this space means it’s just the ticket for both your ceremony and reception accommodating up to 400 guests.

Notel, Melbourne

It’s flirty, it’s bright and it’s so certainly unexpected. Hotel on a rooftop venue Notel is set in the heart of the city. It’s views? Second to none and it’s space? Unforgettable. The silver mainstream trailers can even double as your wedding night accommodation!
