We’re back, for another celebration of The Feast Issue with a food truck roundup. Sunshine state, this time it’s your turn!
Queensland, it turns out you know a thing or two about food trucks, because we’ve discovered over fifty amazing vans that love a good wedding. They’ll arrive and serve coffee, they’ll squeeze juice fresh, they’ll wood fire a pizza and they’ll fry up tasty doughnuts.
We’ve not limiting ourselves to Brisbane either, we’ve found food trucks from the Gold Coast to Toowoomba, Ipswich to the Sunshine Coast. Scroll on down to find your favourite!
Beautifully sweet and gorgeously vintage, The Vintage Bondwood Bar will park itself at your wedding and charm your guests with it’s beautifully styled drink service. They’ll provide all the glassware and serve up your handpicked bar menu.
If there ever was a food truck with our name on it, it’s Happy Soul Bowl. This food truck? It’s all about feel-good whole foods. From Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, the bright yellow van cooks up beautiful salads, burgers, poke bowls- the list goes on, and it’s all healthy!
In chic black and white, The Van Fine Street Food truck brings beautiful, fine catering to wherever you’re celebrating! Each event has its own custom menu, and they can create anything from fancy canapes (think seared prawns from Mooloolaba and Goats curd pannacotta) to sit down or stand up dinners – and even, of course, food truck favourite street food!
Paella is always a favourite for big crowds, and it’s Samba Catering Co’s specialty! They’ll delight guests with canapes, paella and even beautiful Brazilian cuisine from their black and red truck.
Specialists in events, Gathering Events offer up everything from a vintage style caravan bar to an endless assortment of custom carts – think popcorn carts, ice cream carts, the dream is yours and they’ll make it happen! These guys travel all over Queensland- from Brisbane to Ipswich, Noosa to the Gold Coast and in between!
Pizza… and a kombi? Meet Pizzantic. A kombi van with a difference, this crew arrives at your event to serve up wood-fired pizza right on site!
Located in the Bundaberg Region, The Roll N Banks Bar brings their vintage caravan for a styling drinks service option. The fully staffed caravan comes with everything you need to serve up bubbles, cocktails and whatever your fancy!
The Bun Mobile is all about, well, the bun! The truck serves up beautifully handmade steamed buns with delicious, more-ish toppings. Pork, wagyu and chicken are their three favourites and just the ticket for a wedding dinner. They also will cater to all special dietary needs- win!
Surf Burger Food Truck is a Gold Coast-based food who make tasty burgers and fries by the seaside. These guys will even dish up sweet potato fries, onion rings and they can even make vegetarian options!
With its sweet retro icecream van style, Gelato A Go Go is going to make your wedding a favourite! The team can serve up any of their 100 different gelatos and sorbets for your wedding. From flavours like apple pie to Italian marshmallow, from cherry ripe to custard apple. Delish!
Mi Casa delights Brisbane (and the Gold Coast) weddings with their delicious gourmet burgers. They’re experienced event pros, so they’re able to custom design your menu to suit your day. They’ll even serve up special dietary options for your gluten-free and vegetarian guests.
The specialty of The Dapper and Chic food truck? Cajun inspired street food. This crew serves up favourites like po boy shrimp and New Orleans fries for something a little different (but utterly tasty, of course!)
Rolls Pho Mi serves hot Vietnamese street food from a little red truck. With menu items like beautiful rice paper rolls, pho, and banh mi sitting along with favourites like spring rolls, these guys will cater weddings around Brisbane, the Gold Coast & the Sunshine Coast.
We can get behind a food truck with a name like Fry-Yay! The silver “Spud” serves up amazing loaded fries with toppings like pulled pork, cheesy bacon & sour cream, just to name two! With six kinds of fries to choose from and a range of added extras like hot dogs and tacos, this truck is a winner!
Ruby The Little Red Icecream Van
If there’s an award for the cutest truck on the list I am petty sure Ruby The Little Red Icecream Van would win it. They serve up soft-serve ice cream from the sweetest red and white van around Brisbane (and it’s all gluten free!)
Barraca Portuguese Street Grill
Barraca Portuguese Street Grill are passionate about their Portuguese street food menu (which is amazing) but also about the experience. These guys will dish up all your favourite Portuguese dishes- peri peri chicken wings, burgers bowls and well anything you like- because their wedding menus are tailored to your event.
Queensland’s cutest icecream bike, Wheel & Spoon will ride into your wedding and serve up your choice of delicious icecream. They’ll even provide a menu board and attendant and all the waffle cones you need. All in sweet cycle style!

With a cafe background, the owners of Tuck Shop know good food. Their little truck comes to weddings and events around the Sunshine Coast. This dream team will serve up everything from festival style menus to grazing tables, to big menus.
Slow-cooked meats are a specialty of The BBQ Joint, in fact, we’d think their 12 hour slow-cooked brisket is pretty much a must serve on your wedding menu if you choose these guys! They can do plenty of different slow-cooked treats like ribs and wings alongside delicious salads and of course fries.
We love a food truck with spirit and the burger-loving Notorious E.A.T was inspired by the diner scene in the USA- think beautifully done burgers, onion rings, wings and loaded fries. It’s staffed and run by the chefs behind it who are passionate about good food done well. These guys service Gold Coast, Brisbane & Northern NSW.
Abbiocco is all about Italian cuisine. Frustrated ex-chefs whipping up Italian style street food with amazing homemade sauces. Here you’ll find amazing meatballs, arancini, gnocchi- just to name a few of what they can produce! They’ll create a custom menu for your wedding and can even add on fun elements like grazing tables. They travel Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast & Ipswich areas.
Vanteen Catering & The Cellar Van Vintage Travelling Caravan

Think locally crafted beers, sparkling wines and even cocktails! Want a one-stop-shop? The accompanying vintage van of Vanteen Catering will cater your feast!
Want to make a difference with your wedding catering? Meet Crepes For Change! This non-profit food truck whips up decadent crepes and sends all profits to causes that work to eliminate youth homelessness. Now that’s a dessert with a difference!
Brisbane based The Fiery Deli homemake South American treats from their brightly coloured van. From Arepas to empanadas and of course, nachos, they’ll happily head to your wedding to serve up a feast.
Serving from the Daintree to Tully, the FNQ food truck of Mojo Street Food serves up your choice of street food. Stretch them- they welcome it! From bagels to noodle boxes, burgers and everything in between. Consider this a tropical treat!
Healthy options abound at Zen Sisters food truck. New York Waffles, creates amazing waffles all over South Eastern Queensland. From light and crispy style to the dense and chewy style, they’ll serve your guests amazing fresh waffles, with both sweet & savoury flavours.
A classic nod to American cuisine, Mr America Hotdogs & Fries will serve your wedding guests hotdogs, chips and of course burgers, But don’t be mistaken, this isn’t your one hotdog flavour style van- these guys have endless flavours. Cheese dogs relish dogs, chilli dogs, corn dogs- and it goes on! This van services Brisbane & The Gold Coast.
In retro 1970s style (check out the wood panelling!) The Kitchen Garden is a Gold Coast-based food truck that is all about healthy food beautifully done. They’re known for their beautiful salads, but also serves up healthy nachos, burritos and tortas, Plus? They’re vegan and vegetarian-friendly!
Get your baked potatoes at London Spuds! With menu items like the “Princess Harry” (Butter, Chilli beef & cheese) sitting aligned with the “Elizabeth Taylor” (Cheese, sour cream & bacon bits) these guys serve up baked potatoes that are sure to be a crowd favourite at your wedding, They service throughout Brisbane.
There really is something to suit everybody on the menu at Brisbane based Eat The Thing, This food truck serves up all kinds of bowls and tacos- choose your platform, then your filling. They’ve got options like Katsu Chicken, Argentinian style Asado Beef, Chinese BBQ Pork, even Italian Eggplant. This mix and match approach is a great idea for a wedding with plenty of tastes to work with!
It’s about time we talked about dessert, so let us introduce you to Whips & Co. A vegan and gluten free, and well, almost healthy food truck! The coco-whip dessert is made from coconut water and comes in the style of frozen yoghurt. The team serves up beautiful fruit and flavour laden icy desserts throughout the Gold Coast region.
The Weiner Haus is based on the Gold Coast and loves to delight events with delicious gourmet hot dogs. Alongside their tasty sides (onion rings and tater tots!) this crew have different packages available for weddings which include full size hot dogs or more canapé style delights.
Kraut N’ About, Brisbane’s Bavarian style food truck that caters for weddings with all the dishes you would expect. Baby bratwursts, cheese kranksys, pepper cream meatballs and of course, potato pancakes! They even have soft pretzels. These guys service South East Queensland.
A mix of USA diner fare and Korean cuisine, Koma Sliders do amazing fried chicken and burger style meals. Their event menu, with burgers and loaded fries has their own Korean twist (Hot chick burger, with it’s fried chicken filling is on my list). They travel within Moorooka and beyond it for a travel fee.
Indian cuisine, crossed with Mexican cuisine? Meet Indimex on Wheels. This bright red food truck brings to life Indian flavour inspired stuffed burritos, bunny chow, tacos and of course, straight up curry! The team are based in Brisbane and will travel!
With retro pink and white styling, the Softy & Frosty truck is going to completely delight your guests as it arrives, to the sounds of Greensleeves to dish up old fashioned iceream at your wedding. These guys, Brisbane based, will, of course, come bearing sprinkles!
The Weiner Wagon is the van for you if you want classic options like hot dogs, milkshakes and hot tasty fries. This brightly coloured van, based in South East Queensland dishes up every kind of sausage you can dream of- from cheese kranskys to chorizos- with all the condiments!
Parma Street Food is Brisbane’s take on Italian inspired street food, the little black truck makes everything from scratch. Their contemporary Italian inspired menu filled with beautiful pasta, gnocchi, grazing boards, porchetta and so much more.
JR’s Smokehouse BBQ is all about low and slow. Alongside amazing brisket, ribs and shoulders, this truck will serve your guests amazing sides (smoked mac and cheese, and potato salad amongst the many options). There will be no hungry guests with these guys catering your wedding!
If you’re having an afternoon tea wedding, then you need to meet Little Bonnie Dot. The cutest pastel vintage caravan delights in delicious high teas, garden parties and cocktail celebrations. How could you resist?
Rolling Stone Pizza knows a thing or two about pizza – their food trucks house Italian style wood-fired pizza ovens and they travel all over Brisbane. These trucks are fast workers (5 pizzas in 90 seconds!) and they can even cater for dietary requirements.
Inspired by American Deli style and street food, Little Havana Food Truck with ti’s black and neon decor can cater to favourites like a classic Reuben sandwich. Philly cheese burgers, jalapeno poppers and cheese sticks. This tasty treat filled van is based in Isle of Capri on the Gold Coast.
Not only will Something for Catering bring their beautiful wood panelled van to your wedding, they can in fact, even plan the whole shindig! Designed to be able setup anywhere, this truck can cater your entire wedding and even provide bar service. They travel all over Queensland from the Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba, Brisbane to Darling Downs. The menu – it’s only limited by your imagination.
Gold Coast based Little Wahaca Food Truck is a vintage style caravan that specialises in Latin American street food. Think old favourites like empanadas and plantain chips, nachos, tostadas and of course- tacos!
Just as the name suggests this gorgeous food truck cooks up grain based meals (think quinoa, black rice) alongside amazing toppings (pork belly, beef brisket, smashed avo – oh and of course there are the greens! Green On Grains dishes up their bowl based menu from Brisbane to the Gold Coast.
Dinky D’s Donuts have spent so long researching the classic cinnamon doughnut, that they think theirs is the best in Queensland. We’re pretty sure if this little silver truck rocked up at your wedding, your guests would agree! This truck has doughnuts and milkshakes on the menu and caters to events around Queensland.
After something different to the usual burgers and fries? Meet Sushi To The Max. This team make beautiful fresh sushi for events alongside delights like grilled salmon salads, chicken karaage and beautiful sashimi.
We’re loving the ideas of fresh juice on the menu at your wedding- so enter Juice Power making power smoothies, fresh juice and power crushies, serving them up alongside healthy snacks. Loving this idea for a brunch wedding!
