Oh and of course, to celebrate The Invitation Issue, we need to pay homage to the beautiful stationery designed by Small Brown Writes. Designer Kenaina creating an invitation suite of handmade paper, inspired by the cracks and peeling paint of the venue’s historic walls. “My approach to designing a set of stationery is always to complement the look and feel of a couple’s wedding day.” she shares “As a stationer, I am most inspired by old-world romanticism and rough textures. With the location being Moana Hall, a beautiful heritage venue with it’s original early 1900’s interior still intact, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase elegance and texture on paper.”
