Suits by Marlo & Marlo

As we celebrate The Suit Issue, and suits in all their variations, we couldn’t think of anything we wanted to do more than to celebrate designers who are creating amazing suits for women. Although there is still plenty of room to grow, suit loving brides have so many more options than they once did and we want to share all our love for those who are paying attention! So today? We’re rounding up six designers creating tailored suits for Australian women, transgender or non-binary.

Joe Button suits knew that their female clientele wanted beautiful suits, so alongside their menswear collection, they’ve dedicated time and effort to creating tailored suiting options, specifically designed for brides to be. (We particularly loved seeing Joe Button pop up in this gorgeous day we shared._

The team work directly with their clientele to tailor a suit to the wearer’s specific body shape, with the ability to choose from endless fabrics, both for the suit itself and its lining, to the options of the suit itself. Buttons, lapels, monograms and more. It’s as easy as visiting their showrooms, located in both Melbourne and Sydney.

P Johnson Femme

We’ve long loved the pieces from P Johnston Tailors, so we were delighted when they debuted P Johnson Femme.

The brand, which has always been about “helping people dress better” has developed cloth specifically for the female form. Including beautiful Irish linens, Italian cotton, corduroys and cashmere, the collections are a match for the high quality we’ve come to expect from the flagship brand itself. The team has developed single and double-breasted blazers and two trouser fits so you can find your own beautiful match in the collection. Each piece will be custom made and tailored to your own measurements and shape.
