Oh, you know how much we adore beautiful blooms and unusual colour combinations and today’s editorial of modern romantic blush wedding inspiration captured by Amelia Claire Photography at Perth’s beautifully restored The Melbourne Hotel is one that has completely set us on a dream of all things teal and blush.

But this shoot wasn’t just about colour, it was about layers, layers of carefully considered, beautiful details. Photographer Amelia tells “We wanted to create something classy and romantic, focusing on details such as hand gestures, delicate flowers, giant heritage windows and hand made paper. The blooms were flown all the way from Japan tying in beautifully with textured walls.”

Model Rachelle Dusting (how much do we adore her chic bob? Short hair brides take inspiration!) dressed in a feminine gown with delicate applique by Made With Love from Brides By Design. Her hair and makeup are styled beautifully by The Pretty Parlour.

With furniture from Orielle, our team designed a setting that was layer upon layer of detail – a floor-length table cloth, white and metallic, cleanly lined tableware from Side Serve Perth, chic taper candles, beautiful stationery pieces by Small Brown Writes.

Floral designer Bits & Blooms made the layered look come to life – a gorgeous arch of greenery, an utterly romantic bouquet and coordinating centrepieces that spoke of the intimate beauty of romantic, textural blooms. And then there was the cake, the stunner made by The Cake & I showing the contrast of clean lines and romantic blooms in the most stunning of results.
