We are all about the flowers this month as we dive into The Bouquet Issue and we couldn’t take our eyes of the lush wattle garlands of today’s editorial (and then we saw the grazing table when our stomachs also begged us to stay!).

It makes sense that our dream team used the Oscar Wilde quote “Mere colour, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways” to inspire their modern boho wedding editorial. Photographer Samuel White Photography captured the scene in all it’s beautiful, vivid colour.

At the quaint country venue of Soul of Gerringong, the bright yellow floral details by Grace and Stone Collections were the absolute, highlight, framing our newlyweds (the bride dressed in a gorgeous Alca Line Bride gown topped in lace) and highlighting the beautiful boho styled reception. A table set low to the ground, under a wattle canopy and topped with mismatched vessels of amber and mercury glass. To finish the celebration  Coco’s Events creating an amazing grazing table fit for royalty.

Flowers were the focus of this shoot, Megan Blain Hair weaving little white blooms through the bride’s soft up-do, complemented by Lu Lu Makeup Artist pink-toned makeup look. The relaxed look complementing the sweet white bouquet.

Amy of Alca Line bride shares “The inspiration behind the shoot was celebrating the vibrancy of colour and love. Experimenting with the idea of colour and texture, and encouraging a unique approach- to break away from the “norm”.”
