With her talented team of designers and support staff, she creates the most luscious wedding flowers from bouquets to ceiling installations to flower crowns and ceremony arrangements. She also has a wedding day coordination service as well as a styling advice service to refine your vision to ensure that your wedding ideas are beautifully put together and coordinated. Walking into your ceremony and reception for the first time and seeing your dreams translated into reality, really is one of life’s joys and Gillian is right there to make sure that it happens.

We asked Gillian of Gillian Pollard five questions in five minutes:

What is your favourite reward after a big working day?
After a super long wedding Saturday (usually started with a trip to the market to get some last minute blooms, then a full day on the road setting up weddings) I love nothing more than stripping off those tight clothes, having a hot shower then relaxing with a glass of wine, cheap takeaway and the company of my friends, all in the comfort of my lounge so I can wear tracksuit pants, slippers and no makeup!

Your favourite weekend getaway?
Ocean Grove. On the rare occasion, we have no weddings or they all fall on a Friday, I take the opportunity to head down the coast with my husband. He loves kiteboarding, and I love just sitting on the beach and reading trashy magazines or a good book.

What is your most prized possession?
My iphone. As sad as it is to say. My life and business are run from it. Even though I pop it in the other room when I get home in the evening…I literally could not control my life of business without it.

Favourite restaurant?
Dexters in Preston. We have never not had a good time here.

What do you enjoy most about being in the wedding industry?
The joy on our clients faces on wedding morning when they see our flowers. Makes all the long days worth it.
