The beauty of pastels always adds such a soft, elegant charm to a wedding and today’s pastel sunset winery shoot brings together stunning tones of hydrangea blue, blush pink and encapsulates the femininity of a spring celebration.

With Wilson and Lewis Photography behind the lens at the beautiful Coriole Vineyards, floral designers Bella In Bloom and Blooming Bridal created lush pastel bouquets, with a circle ceremony backdrop and table garland, while Bluebelle Studio designed delicate stationery and signage. A three-tier cake by The Sweet Tooth and petals for tossing by Just Throw Me were the finishing touches.

Our brides, Melissa Tyson and Neroli Newton, dressed resplendently in gowns from Caleche and  Karen Willis Holmes from The Vintage Bride Boutique, had natural hair and makeup looks styled by Make-Up By Kelly Lynch and Lisa-Marie Lynch.

Photographers Tereza and Tony of Wilson and Lewis Photography tell, “This shoot was designed to be a fun, light-hearted celebration of marriage equality. We chose to use pale pinks and blues for a light, airy feel and to complement the beautiful dresses. The upbeat photographs reflect the love, happiness and joy all couples, regardless of gender, deserve to celebrate!

We didn’t stop laughing all day and you can see the happiness on the faces of our beautiful brides. Throwing colourful petals in the air and seeing them float in the wind was a highlight of the day. Mother Nature showed her support too and the skies opened up to give us gorgeous golden light at sunset.

All couples deserve the right to experience the joys and wonder of their wedding day, but more importantly to experience the adventure of marriage for the rest of their lives.”
