Nattalie & Greg

You all know how much I absolutely adore a winery wedding and in recent years the beautiful Brown Brothers Estate has really shone as a beautiful country wedding venue. The wedding of Nattalie and Greg really brings out what is so absolutely beautiful about an all in one venue like this. A stunning backdrop for the ceremony, a beautiful location for photographs and a grand reception. Who could ask for more? And don’t get me wrong, I love a lot of fuss as much as the next person, but there is something about the refined beauty of this classic & elegant Brown Brothers Winery wedding that really brings out the wedding lover in me. With Cam Grove Photography capturing every beautiful moment, you will soon see why!

It was actually through the bride’s brother that these two met, Nattalie explaining “Greg and I met at my brother’s best friend’s 21st party. Greg worked with my brother’s best friend and from that night on I knew I wanted to get to know him more! I made the first move, Greg had no choice but to take me out!”

Family involvement was key for the bride on the day. “It was important to me to have my family near and close on the day. Whilst I spent the day with my bridal party I also included my Father and Brother in the time before the ceremony. Having this time together as a family was really important to me – supporting each other through all the emotions was very special. Including my Grandmother’s heirlooms was a must and on the day, having them close (as she is no longer with us) was very important to me – a must inclusion!

The bride wore the most beautiful classically styled gown by Veromia from Jack and Jill Bridal. She tells “I wanted something simple and elegant and what I found was exactly what I had been dreaming of. It was the first and last dress I tried on and being that the girls at Jack and Jill Bridal were so incredibly easy to work with, it made my decision a whole lot easier to make! Having a bridal boutique you can rely on, trust and work with is so important and for me finding my wedding dress was such a simple and stress-free process. My dress was perfect in every way, the simple neck line and detailed back/train was everything I wanted.”

The country town of Milawa hosted the celebration setting the scene at winery venue Brown Brothers Winery “Greg and I chose Brown Brothers Winery for our venue – reception and ceremony. The oak trees outside were everything that we wanted for our ceremony, simply stunning in its natural form. The barn where we held our reception was elegant but again naturally very simple and it had a beautiful ‘rural’ feeling to it.”

The bride walked down the aisle with her father to a string version of Coldplay’s “Clocks”.

Blooms On Bridge styled the elegant bouquets, Nattalie remarking “I wanted traditional whites and greens for myself, bouquets that were not ‘perfect’ looking but had a sense of ‘I just through these together’ look about them. My bridesmaids had subtle pinks and whites and they were simply the perfect addition to the girl’s outfits.”

The couple chose their pastor to officiate the ceremony. “It was really important for Greg and me to have our ceremony in a place where we both felt really comfortable. The oak trees setting at Brown Brothers was exactly this for us. We wanted it to remain ‘rural’ hence why we did not go over the top with decorations. We had a simple line of rose petals each side of our aisle and we had a few large flower arrangements and a welcome sign – other than this we let the beautiful surroundings speak for themselves.”

“I love the photo taken of us just as we said I do and kissed – it captures us, our Minister, bridal party and our two fathers in the photo” remarks the bride.

The newlyweds took a bottle of bubbles to the vineyard for a quiet moment together – how much do we love this idea?

Of their photographer, Nattalie remembers “We met Cam and were instantly comfortable with him. Cam listened to what we wanted and this was reflected in the photos he took for us on our wedding day. Cam was incredibly easy to work with, neither of us felt uncomfortable with Cam and by the end of the day we had totally forgotten he was around us taking photos – he made the process really easy for the whole bridal party! Very easy going and great to work with – would definitely recommend!”

Nattalie tells “Our first dance was to ‘My Girl’ by the Temptations. Old song but was perfect for us. It was a very special moment and not one either of us will forget our first dance together.”

Guests danced long into the night with the help of Scott and Amanda.   “Every vendor we had on our wedding day was amazing, from the venue at Brown Brothers to flowers, food etc. – everything was perfect!”

Congratulations on your marriage Nattalie and Greg! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with us. Thank you also to Cam Grove Photography for sharing today’s gorgeous celebration.
