If champagne coupes, beautiful sparkles, silverware with decadent detail and floor length gowns are your idea of a beautiful night, then this stunning art deco glam wedding ideas shoot is just for you.
Twig and Fawn Photography captured this beautiful shoot, teaming up with floral designer Wildflowers and Moss and Adorn Event Hire at the beautiful Customs House Brisbane to create a shoot that “was designed to invoke the decadent yet refined glamour of the 1920’s”. The small setting also the most beautiful inspiration for a smaller wedding – a grand three-course meal for only your closest friends perhaps?
From the simple colour palette of ivory, mercury silver and lush botanic greens to the setting – the beautiful jewel toned Sylvia Jones room filled with details of shining mirrors, sparkling chandeliers and an elegant long table, dressed in a beaded lace table runner and plenty of mercury silver, to the floral arrangements of incredible oversize ferns with rose accents, potted ferns and greenery and the icing on the cake of the crystal champagne tower, topped with French champagne. Each element spoke of the art deco glamour with a little drama and plenty of sophistication.
The team wanted to inspired couples on creating a look that is “a richly elegant, classic and stunning look reminiscent of the Deco glamour of the Golden Age”, the bride to be model Bianca Sylk dressed in a stunning Pronovias gown from White Lily Couture – the piece with its elegant long sleeves and sweeping train reminiscent of a modern take on vintage – it’s glittering fabric and low v neckline bringing classic elegance into a modern day look. Finished off with a glowing, dewy makeup look by Absolutely Lucy Hair and Makeup with a dramatic winged eye (complete with a little silver sparkle) and bold red lip to match her sleek, chic low chignon.
