As he looks back on his outfit for his Barwon Heads restaurant wedding, Mark remembers how important it was for him to wear something casual and comfortable – and to accessorize his look with a smart bowtie!

“I was not overly fussed about what the boys and I wore on the day but I wanted something that was a little different to the staple black, grey or navy. Having our big day by the beach I wanted to keep the look relaxed and neutral. A simple white shirt with tan pants tied in perfectly with the bridesmaids’ dresses and the theme of the day.”

“I did want to wear a bow tie but I couldn’t find one that I really liked.  I ordered two online one week before the wedding but the day before they still hadn’t arrived!  It was a huge surprise for Brooke to see me wearing a fun bowtie as she walked down the aisle towards me (they arrived an hour before the boys and I left for the wedding!)
