Predjama Castle
In the spirit of all things magical make sure you see the Predjama Castle. The castle sits within a natural arch way of a cliff face making it all the more alluring. It was first mentioned in records dating back to 1274. Since then it has been reconstructed several times due to destruction. The current castle was built in 1570 on a 123m high cliff and has remained almost unchanged to this day.
