Melanie & Phil
We do adore a sweet small celebration at Polka Dot Bride and the intimate Maleny wedding of Melanie and Phil is the epitome of something beautifully small but so full of love. The couple chose photographer Matt Rowe Photography to capture their day.
The day started with an outdoor ceremony and then came the rain – and as is so often the case, the rain did not dampen any spirits and instead led to spectacular photographs and a dinner cosy under the handmade yurt set in the garden.
The couple were married at Magical Malindi, working with Splash Events to set up an outdoor ceremony in the garden – despite the rain.
Sonia Fry officiated the ceremony.
The bride worked with Marilyn Crystelle Bridal to make her gown – comprising of a soft, flowy skirt and a lace long sleeve top handmade by the designer.
The couple hired a yurt from Montville Yurts, dining under its handmade structure with their guests.
A big thank you to Matt Rowe Photography and Melanie and Phil for sharing this sweet celebration with us!
