Audrey & Guillaume
With Italy such a stunning place for a holiday, it makes sense that for a celebration, it’s equally as amazing. Audrey and Guillaume’s Tuscany destination wedding is completely proof of it – a historic sandstone church setting the scene for a traditional style ceremony and a long feast under the Tuscan sun planned for the celebration. Of course, there was dancing under the stars to top it all off. Audrey and Guillaume, who met at college, worked with photographer Massimo Bonon and Chiara Sernesi, Weddings in Tuscany to created their romantic destination wedding.
Audrey chose a strapless gown by Pronovias.
The couple chose Sant Appiano Church for their ceremony, noting, “We were married in a Catholic intimate ceremony at Sant Appiano Church, often indicated as the oldest church in Chianti. We had classic music interpreted by violoncellist and violonist. The decoration was soft, only white flowers, so we could appreciate the beauty of the church.”
Audrey walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon In D.
Of their photographer, Audrey remarks “Massimo is very talented. The photos are natural and reflect emotions.”
The reception was at a private villa in Chianti, with guests served a sit down dinner at a long table under the verandah. Chiara Sernesi, Weddings in Tuscany planned the details of the day, Audrey remembering “Chiara Sernesi, my wedding planner was amazing and devoted. Even though she was in Italy and I was in Canada, it was easy with her. She had all my trust.”
Of their first dance, Audrey remembers “We danced under the Tuscan moon and stars. It was very romantic. Our song was “Fly Me To The Moon” by Frank Sinatra.”
Congratulations Audrey and Guillaume on your marriage! Thank you for sharing your stories! Thank you also to Massimo Bonon and Chiara Sernesi, Weddings in Tuscany for sharing today’s wedding!
