Lisa & David
David and I renewed our vows recently and held a small intimate Anniversary Party at our home on Sydney’s North Shore; Blumenthal Photography captured all the moments so beautifully.
I wore two custom-made Lisa Gowing gowns; the first was ‘Etta’, a French cotton rose lace design hand appliquéd over a silk corset bodice and layered with a blush tulle skirt and sweeping train.
Later I changed into my Lisa Gowing ‘Patricia’ gown – a latte liquid silk design with deep V front and back neckline, appliquéd off-white leafy cotton lace, capped lace sleeves and a slimline skirt with train.
My beautiful jewellery is all antique, bought for me by David. My earrings were from Isabella’s Jewellery – they looked perfect with both of my gowns.
The ring cushions were made by my seamstress from scraps of silk and lace from my gowns. My two young sons were the ring bearers.
Simmone Logue catered for our celebrations – and made the most fantastic cake!
Chris from Doblo Event Planning arranged the flowers using my own crystal bowls that I purchased for my wedding at Fort Denison – he also made the most gorgeous floral hair wreath!
Ms Chinoiserie Says: Congratulations Lisa and David; what a beautifully magical day surrounded by family and friends!
About Lisa Gowing: I work with beautiful, luxurious fabrics cut in elegant, feminine lines. Each one of my gowns is hand-made in Australia and constructed in layers of silk and exclusive trims including European laces and crystal or jewel embellishments.
