Oh today’s jewel toned bohemian wedding ideas shoot is going to send your brain into wonderful swirls and twirls of inspiration. There is so much to feast your eyes on and the colour is so rich and vibrant it practically leaps off the screen.
The dream team of photographer Amelia Claire Fine Art Photography, florist Katie Cooper Floral Design, makeup artist Connor for Milla Makeup, hairstylist Simone Hall, fashion label Mr And Mrs Wardrobe fashion stylist Love Thread, furniture and prop stylist Maisey Collections, cake designer Erin Crosby and stationer Kirsty Russell Design brought a bohemian dream to life.
Photographer Amelia has always had a dream to photograph “a truly, bohemian gypsy wedding – one that captured their vagabond lifestyle, their merry frugality and their disregard of money in pursuit of happiness.” So together, the team headed to a richly toned, unspoilt forest to create a stunning shoot abundant in beautiful colour and texture that in florist Katie’s words “reflected a bohemian love of eclectic art.
The setting for the shoot immediately evoked a belief in nature and acted as a stunning backdrop for layers of colour and texture. The free-spirited bride exuded the effortless beauty that we romantically associate with gypsies and the wedding feast spoke of exotic delicacies gathered on a whim. It’s rare to find a bohemian gypsy without them being surrounded by flowers, let alone on their wedding day! Remaining true to the theme, the seemingly foraged florals were wild and unstructured in vibrant hues of red and purple with lush green foliage. Everyone’s minute attention to detail resulted in an amazing shoot of a rather unconventional wedding.
