If you follow us on Instagram you’ll know that I recently headed along to the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. I’d seen pictures before but seeing the floral sculptures and masterpieces in real life for a flower lover like me was quite simply inspirational.
One of my favourite pieces was created by Verity Tatau (in the top left of my inspiration board below) and inspired this bohemian botanical wedding bash inspiration board. I love the bohemian feeling of it – the soft toned greenery encircling the thin, delicate gold wire. I’d love to see this as a backdrop or feature piece in a bohemian style wedding. This board focuses heavily on greenery, the couple in their relaxed but chic outfits marrying in front of the botanically laden dream catcher.
For the reception, a garland of succulents and leaves and tall gold candlesticks centres the tables, which of course are outside under the stars. After dinner, guests take to the dance floor, or relax on the vintage style lounge furniture before enjoying the cheese stack cake with fresh fruits.
