Linda & Tim
There is a beautiful sense of romance about Linda and Tim’s mint winery wedding. The groom chose to get ready on a lavender farm – the beautiful backdrop setting the scene for a magical day full of plenty of backdrops that were just as picture perfect as the newlywed’s love story. Linda and Tim chose Bird & Boy Photography to capture their day.
Linda tells, “Tim and I met when we were just 16. There is no special story, but since meeting at 16 we have always been a special part of each other lives.”
The bride wore a gown by Anna Campbell from The Babushka Ballerina. Her bridesmaids in mint dresses from Seduce.
Linda and Tim chose Ocean View Estates and Winery for their wedding, the bride remarking, “The beautiful natural surroundings of the winery was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The staff were amazing and very helpful from the set up of decorations to the last drink served.”
Linda remembers, “The day was just as we hoped it would be, casual, relaxed and most importantly fun!” Linda chose Better Together by Jack Johnson for her walk down the aisle.
Fern Wedding Florist created fresh, soft floral arrangements for the day.
Of their photographers, Linda says, “Our photographers Bird and Boy were amazing! Before the wedding day they happily answered any questions I had. On the day we couldn’t have asked for more. It was important to us that the photographers were calming and relaxed so we could be comfortable. This is exactly what they were! We are so impressed with the photos and particularly liked the way they used the surroundings. We have received many compliments about the photographers and the photos.”
Linda notes, “With the help of some wonderful friends, we made the seating plan, guest signing chart, some photo booth props and the table decorations. Etsy was also my best friend! The theme for the day was “mint to be”. We tried to incorporated this theme with the colours of the dresses and decorations, “mint to be” mint favours and a “mint to be” cocktail “. Linda’s friend Holly Tape designed the mint and peach stationery for the day.
The bride created the photo booth herself – a highlight of the night!
