Vintage Modern Wedding Inspiration

Now let it be said, I am a complete sucker for a champagne fountain and to me? They are the quintessential party trick for a celebration. I love today’s inspiration shoot because it has a kind of New Years Eve fun glamour feel to it! Inspired by everything vintage, the team wanted to head back to a more traditional vintage inspired look – this time with a more glamorous edge. Modern fun touches of glitter, gold and graphic black and white created a modern sense of style.

Adore Photography  joined with makeup artist I Do Makeup Artistry, florist Twig & Blossom planner & stylist Made To Match Events and hairstylist Coastal Style Mobile Hairdressing at Flaxton Gardens.

Danella of I Do Makeup Artistry  sets the scene. “We wanted to step away from the common vintage look and go back to more traditional styling with the champagne tower, candle holders and the veil. We wanted to bring in some modern aspects with ombre flowers and polka dots. Gold, black, cream and soft pinks.”

Black table linens set the base for glamorous table settings of gold charger plates, polka dot napkins and bold black and white graphic stationery.

A gold bar cart was topped with a champagne tower, pink fringing and plenty of black, gold and white confetti.

An ombre bouquet by Twig & Blossom was a feature of the shoot. “The bouquet has a modern twist on the traditional unstructured cascading bouquet to a more structured tear drop shape.”

I Do Makeup Artistry created the makeup look with Coastal Style Mobile Hairdressing styling the bride’s hair. Danella noting, “We chose glamourous makeup with metallic gold on the eyes and false lashes. The hair is structured and elegant.”

The bride wore Elizabeth De Varga while the groom was dressed by Johns Formal Wear.

Sweetheart Cake Designs created a vintage inspired pink and gold wedding cake with black detail.
