Georgia Young Couture is a new kid on the block when  it comes to the bridal design world, but she’s already making a statement with her strong and bold bridal designs.

Debuting her second collection recently, entitled “The Lost Monarchy”, Georgia was inspired by her forthcoming trip to Iceland. The collection embodying strength, beauty and texture, hug and enhance the shape of the wearer making them inherently feminine.

I for one love the above gown – I think it’s my favourite with it’s high neck and long sleeves it’s modern yet somehow with the lines, fabric choice and shape so sophisticated. Georgia is inspired by the couture techniques of times gone by, sketching the gowns by hand for each of her brides who either choose one of Georgia’s gown pieces and change it to suit their style or work with Georgia to create a completely custom piece using fine, modern fabrics and laces.

Georgia Young Couture has a salon in Fitzroy (it’s a sight to behold with paper sketches adorning the walls on-top of hessian like fabric wall coverings). Georgia’s special space represents her own personal style – unique, well crafted and definitely unforgettable.
