We featured some pretty stunning floral gowns on the blog this week (Ms Polka shared her faves), and I totally got inspired to add more zing to my wardrobe as we head into the warmer months. It can be such an easy way to pep oneself up – add a splash of print and you’re ready for the world! Florals are hugely on-trend at the moment, so I’ll be no doubt adding some to my daily wardrobe soon.

In the meantime, why not add some colour to your day with the Friday Roundup. Perfect!

A fabulous video to share with you today, from the lovely team at Jess Marks Photography. They made this Stop Motion video of Jane and Michael’s secret wedding. Only their closest family members were invited to the wedding, but under the guise of an “engagement” party later that evening, they gathered their extended family and friends. This stop motion video was how they told everyone that this was in fact a wedding reception and not an engagement party. They even went so far as to get changed out of their wedding clothes for the start of the “engagement” party, and then whilst this video was playing, they did another costume change… and made their grand surprise entrance at the end of the video! Phew… hard work for everyone! But well worth the reactions that got!
