Melissa & Michael

Aren’t sunflowers the absolute best? I adore their yellow colour and the way they are wild and untamed always seeking the sunshine. Melissa and Michael chose a sunflower field for their engagement photos – loving what sunflowers represent ( happiness and faith) and as the sun set, well, didn’t they just make magical photographs with Jess Matthews!

Melissa and Michael fell in love after being introduced to each other through family – it wasn’t until a few months later though, that they ran into each other at a coffee shop. They’re set to wed in November!

There was an almost disaster with the proposal that has led to it being one of the couple’s favourite stories. Michael put the ring in a rose that he had grown in the garden and on Valentines Day over a feast of cheese and wine, he popped the question!  They remember, “After Michael proposed, Melissa went to hug him him in excitement she dropped the ring out of the rose on to their deck and almost lost it! ”
