I love our Desperately Seeking column! I love finding new venues, new vendors and getting your secret tips and tricks and we have a plethora of venue hunts on this month’s seeking! Leave a comment if you can help any of our readers!
Bride #1 is looking for an outdoor garden venue in Victoria, similar to the outdoor, rustic space for the wedding in the Twilight movie or The Time Travellers Wife movie. She’s got her heart set on big beautiful trees, round tables, a space for a live band and plenty of fairy lights! Do you know anywhere that might fit the bill?
Bride #2 is looking for a simple venue in Perth for about 40 guests for her wedding reception. She doesn’t mind if it’s outdoors, gardens or a restaurant, but she is budget conscious and unable to reach $100 a head. She’s even happy to hire in caterers. Can you help?
Bride #3 is looking for a venue near Sunbury in Victoria (as far as people can go without needing to spend the night). She has looked at a number of venues (including Glen Erin which she loved the outside of and Fenix which is outside of her budget). She’s looking for a “Wow” venue. Do you have any ideas?
Bride #4 has fallen in love with Highfield House in Stanley, Tasmania but needs her venue to be in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia or Northern Territory. She’s love to find a chapel, with room for reception (a barn or similar) and accommodation in the area (15-20 minutes). Bonus points if the venue is close to the beach and she’s able to bring in her own caterer and alcohol! Can you help?

Hi Bride #3,
How about the beautiful Eynesbury Homestead.
Your wedding here at Eynesbury can be accommodated either in the Marquee which has a beautiful ambience surrounded by magnificent gardens and the Eynesbury Homestead as a back drop. The other option is to have the wedding inside the breathtaking 1870’s National Trust classified Homestead which has the elegance of yesteryear alongside contemporary settings. Both offer stunning surroundings that offer unique photo opportunities. Many brides also choose to have Eynesbury host their ceremony, our glorious gardens and Homestead offer the perfect place to say I do!
Good luck with your search.
