Nerida and Nick

When Nerida and Nick enlisted Adam Ward to capture their engagement photos, they wanted something different to contrast their Brisbane city wedding location. The Australian countryside fit the bill with the couple choosing cane fields near Brisbane for the backdrop- they just so happened upon an incredible sunset at the same time. What a combination!

Nerida telling, “We knew our wedding would be in Brisbane City so we wanted to do something completely opposite to the big buildings and concrete. Our photographer came across this place by mistake and it worked out perfectly – the weather wasn’t looking too good that morning but by the afternoon it was absolutely perfection!”

Nerida and Nick tell the story of how they met. “We met at Nick’s going away party five years ago. He was due to leave for a European adventure two weeks later. Due to an injury he couldn’t go (lucky Nerida!)”

Nerida remarks, “I love that Nick makes me laugh everyday. He always tells me how much he loves me and is so caring and thoughtful. I love that we can do everything together because we are like minded, have the same interests and the same sense of humour.”

I love a couple that makes laughter a priority, which Nick clearly does! Nerida tells, “Nick always is cracking jokes! The house is always full of laughter (Nick usually laughs the loudest at his own jokes).”
