Whimsical Bridesmaid Inspiration

by | Bride, Bridesmaids

Whimsical bridesmaid inspiration was the mission for the team behind today’s bridesmaid styling! Lead by bridal designer Cathleen Jia, and captured by Finessence Photography, the team created a soft whimsical shoot to inspired bridesmaids to have a little fun with their look.

The team headed to a friend’s property in Mount Evelyn where the trees were as green as could be and flowering with the most incredible blossoms, providing the most beautiful backdrop for a little fun with their bridesmaid models!

Cathleen notes, “(We were) inspired mainly by the softness of this beautiful property. The gorgeous blossoming trees, the winery and the greenery. We really wanted to create a shoot focusing on bridesmaids and showing brides different ways to style the bridesmaids to complete that soft vintage look. The models were styled like garden fairies in some shots and also cheeky playful shots to show them enjoying themselves on their friend’s special day. We really wanted them to have fun and let their love and friendships shine through and create that special moment between the girls.”

I am always dying to see fun and different ways of styling your beautiful bridesmaids and this shoot is fun, elegant and has plenty of inspiration for your own bridesmaids – whether it’s a fun look you’re working towards or something a little softer and elegant.

Bud Flowers created the fun, yet elegant bouquets.

Cathleen remarks, “When it came to the styling of the bride, again inspired by our natural surroundings. With the sun setting behind us, it creates another beautiful soft feel at the same location but more glamorous.”

Miss Aimmey styled the model’s makeup looks.

Any word on the brand of those stunning floral dresses, matched with the purple bouquets? They are so beautiful!

I love the idea of having pattern bridesmaid dresses. Really adds some colors and they are super fun
