Today is the winter solstice in Australia, a day I love because I adore everything about the cold dark days of Winter. With a nod to our lovely moon, this afternoon we’re diving into using the moon as part of your wedding inspiration. Particularly stylish with the Gatsby theme of the twenties.
I love how celestial elements can be glittery and metallic, soft and nostalgic or dark and dreamy depending on your personal style – shimmering golds and silvers, midnight blues, or all natural paper ( a la paper moon) and there really is something romantic about drawing on ‘love as big as the universe’, ‘loving you to the moon and back’, ‘loving you like all the stars’, that brings a touch of magic to a wedding.
