Matt and Sarah
Matt and I got married at Wills Domain Winery in Yallingup, Western Australia. We both grew up going on family holidays to this area, so the place had special meaning for us. I work in PR and events and found it really hard to let go of all the details of our wedding to suppliers when I was used to attending to every detail of events at work. As a result, I attended a floristry course in the lead up to our wedding and decided to make all the flowers and decorations myself. I have since launched a floristry and event styling business, Rose and Pearl Events.
We had such a memorable, heartwarming day which Jarrad Seng, our photographer captured perfectly. My son Kai was involved throughout the day which was really special for him. I wore two vintage lace dresses both made by Paula and Jo and surprised Matt with a change in dress to a short dress for the cake cutting and bouquet throw. The style of the day was vintage, french provincial with lots of lace and spring flowers – peonies, roses & baby’s breath.
We had a beautiful day with many special friends and family members and will remember it for the rest of our days! Thanks To Cape Style who coordinated our special day.

Ms Gingham says: So cute!! Love the image of Sarah and Kai having a cuddle. Congratulations to Sarah and Matt on their beautiful wedding.
Sarah says: “Since our wedding I’ve started a wedding floristry and event styling business, Rose and Pearl events and I have my first wedding coming up in April. I love creating beauty through flowers and have a penchant for vintage, antique styling. My all time favourite flowers are baby’s breath and peonies as you’ll see from my wedding pics.”
