Lee-Anne and Jeremy

This gorgeous country wedding comes to us from Bendooley Estate – the most gorgeous little estate with the newly opened Berkelouw Book Barn (a wedding venue filled with books might be my idea of a brilliant space) and the most romantic of wedding days all told today!

Lee-Anne kicks it off. “When at first I met Jeremy, it was eyes from across the office. Our secret love grew into something more than just lingering moments in the lift. Before long, it was common knowledge. Jeremy and I loved each other. . So, lets have a country wedding.”

Clare Martin Lapworth Photography captured today’s wedding with the most thoughtful snippets of joy and plenty of romance.

The bride and bridesmaid both wore gowns by Eileen Kirby with jewels from Untamed Petals.

The wedding was held at Bendooley Estate in Berrima NSW. Lee-Anne remarks, “The ceremony was set amongst the tall pine trees right in front of a beautiful lake. It was an amazing vista to be standing before making our vows to one another.”

For her walk down the aisle, Lee-Anne remembers, “Jeremy had the song written about us and gave it to me as a Christmas present in 2011. ”

Jeremy’s cousin married the couple.

Of their photographer, lee-Anne tells, “We used Melbourne based photographer Clare Martin Lapworth. She has an very candid and natural style. We wanted the photos to capture the excitement and fun of our day, Clare did an awesome job.”

“The reception was held in the book barn, a cosy space with bookcases lining the walls. It has exposed beam ceilings and a beautiful stone fire place. We loved it.”

There was no wedding cake, instead, there was a stack of cheese! Says Lee-Anne, “Jeremy doesn’t like cake and I am gluten intolerant so we had a cheese cake put together by the Bowral Cheese Shop.”

For their first dance, Lee-Anne remembers, “We danced to Tony Bennett’s  “The way you look tonight”. We did not have any time to practice so we just had to wing it on the dance floor, we got the giggles half way through and had all our guests laughing with us.”

Congratulations Lee-Anne and Jeremy! Thank you for sharing your story with us! Thank you also to Clare Martin Lapworth Photography for sharing today’s images!
