Elena and Davide’s Italian Wedding Photos by Igloo Photo
Is is perhaps the fact that I ride a scooter as my preferred mode of transport that made the above scene from Elena and Davide’s wedding take my breath away? Maybe. Or it could just be the idea of flying half-way across the globe to take in the different sights, smells and experiences for a once-in-a-lifetime destination wedding? I’ve been to Italy’s capital, Rome, and it captured my heart. And my appetite! Sicily introduced me to the espresso, and how to treat coffee with “rispetto” (respect). I like to think that I’ve brought this all back to my wonderful life in Australia and infused them somehow into my routine. Have you returned from an overseas trip with any new tips to share?
If you missed this beautiful wedding, or anything else on the our specialty blogs this week, have an strong espresso and enjoy the roundup!
