Today’s groom Rich is honest and dignified with his memories of his wedding day (see more of Vanessa and Rich’s Daylesford Lavender Farm Wedding). He says “As is quite often the case, the groom’s role in planning a wedding is somewhat secondary. I was no exception to the case. My beautiful wife poured all her energy and heart into the wedding and I thank her greatly for this. I of course chipped in when required (my job was organising our honeymoon to Mexico), but the success of the day is largely down to her and her meticulous organisational skills. Thank you Vanessa for everything.

The highlight of the day was seeing my first glimpse of Vanessa rolling down the driveway in the back of our little London cab, waving to everyone. The heart certainly started to pump faster then.

Also the bridal dance was a great finish to the night we enjoyed with family and friends eating and drinking. The whole activity of getting lessons and performing it on the night was one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding for me.”
