Hollie says “This survey is purely for my own research purposes, is will not be published, and any results will be kept on file until 28 February 2013. Participants do not leave any identifying information, this is a non-invasive study. I will be writing a completely anonymous questionnaire to be completed online. An overseas wedding and the joys and hardships of planning from Australia with the only contact being email to the wedding planner at the resort overseas. Including all the potential dramas of family getting to the wedding and getting the wedding dress overseas. And all other problems that could go wrong in a beautiful different destination.
A wedding story, where the wedding is luxurious, but the marriage lasts only 70 days.
Cheeky 😉
Two childhood friends that have a brother, sister relationship. One of the parents (that have always tried to set them up) suddenly falls terminally ill. In attempt to grant the parents last wishes they pretend to be a couple, as the parent had always wished. The deeper the lie becomes the more issues arise. But somewhere along the way something changes between them and they see just what the parent had been saying all along.
A wedding about a mid 30’s refugee who marries an Australian woman to stay in Australia and build a better future . The woman he marries has an “understanding” that this is the case but regardless, develops deep feelings for the man, who has left his wife and children behind in his worn torn country. In exchange for assisting the man to stay, the woman he marries wants a child from him as she is almost 40 and is aware of her biological clock. The story involves the mix of different cultures, and the emotions of the preparation of the wedding, marriage and her quest to have a child….
A bridezilla sends an email to her bridesmaids which details ridiculous and unfair demands on them (they must pay for their outfits, the hens party, etc, must attend all wedding related events and if they can’t, can’t afford it or don’t respond to wedding related emails or phone calls within 1-2 days, then they will be demoted to a guest, must be available to the bride constantly for anything wedding related regardless, etc) and well as telling them in person, which makes all of her bridesmaids ‘quit’.
The email is then circulated on the internet and receives much criticism. The bride (as well as her family and some wedding guests) discovers this and is forced to realise how self centred she is being and must try to make amends with her bridesmaids if her wedding day is to be anything like she had imagined it would be.
I think a mopvie where their families decide to come together and do everything possible to ruin the wedding day would be hilarious! It would be lovely to watch the couple overcome disasters to still get married, and the two families would bond over trying to break them up!
After a nasty breakup, gal decides to do the things she’s always wanted…. leave a horrible job and travel the world where she falls in love with herself all over again… and returns to Australia with a cute french boy!
