Bride 1 says “I am desperately seeking chic modern chair covers and table linens similar to that of Wild Flower Linens (in particular the ruffle chair covers pictured).
I have contacted Wild Flower Linens (American Based Company) on many occasion over the past year to never receive a response. I would absolutely love to find an Australian supplier that has a similar chic range. I only seem to find the old traditional covers with sashes.”
Bride 2 says “By the end of this year me and my brand new fiance will have been to 9 weddings. Now I am all for the lovely delightful ceremony and love a good meal with unlimited amounts of champagne flowing – but this style of a sit down meal in a swanky place with only an hour of dancing its not really my thing.
I would love to have a wedding done my way. My dream wedding would be in the back yard however having big families it would be more like sardines in a tin than a wedding!
So to my question. Are there any venues in Perth that I can do my wedding my way – the drinks, the catering, the decorations. I would like an outdoor vintage garden wedding feel to it. BTW love Holly and Cory’s wedding feature. Have visions much like theirs. I am thinking a gorgeous property with lovely gardens, dance floor outside and lots of string lights.
Am I using too much imagination or is there a place out there for me!!! “
Bride 3 says “I was just wondering if you could help me with some wedding venues. I am looking for somewhere is Western Australia (I live in Perth) that could accommodate an Irish wedding. I am Australian but my partner is Irish and his family and friends from Ireland will be expecting a wedding that does not finish at midnight but will go to all hours of the morning, just like in Ireland. I have had no such luck finding a venue that will go past midnight. Please help.”
Bride 4 says “I am in desperate need for some recommendations for wedding entertainment around the Blue Mountains or Lithgow/Bathurst area. My fiance & I only want to spend around $1500 max on either a band or DJ but are having trouble finding any entertainment at all as we don’t live in the area. We have space restrictions as we are getting married on my parent’s property in a marquee so would only need either a 2-3 piece band or a DJ but would like someone who can get people up and dancing. If there is any assistance you could provide that would be so super awesome! ”
Groom 1 is looking for gelato carts to hire in Melbourne!
Can you help our ‘desperately seekists’? (Is that a word? I’m a blogger and I make up words!)
Hi Bride 2, have you considered…
Bickley Valley – lots of gorgeous rustic wineries & cafes with pretty gardens
Guildford – there is old Woodbridge House (the cafe does wedding catering) and there is also Rosehill Country Club (the stables are great)
Best thing to do is go for a drive around the outskirts of Perth, many of these places don’t have websites that do them justice. Good luck!
Bride 1- I am a contracted distributor with Wildflower Linens. please let me know when, where and how many! I. Happy to help. You can contact me through my website.

Bride 2, have you looked outside Perth? We had the same issue until we came across Laurelville Manor in York. There are some boundaries, but noting compared to everywhere else we looked at in Perth 🙂 Good luck!
Groom 1 looking for Gelato carts – try these people 1. GEELONG: Gelato Events provides a portable cart just right for wedding celebrations. With gelato flavours like Apple Pie, Creme Caramel, Espresso & Classic Chocolate this isn’t just a gelato cart- it’s a feast on wheels! from our Carting It Around post. They might work in Melbourne as well.
Bride 4 – have you tried looking at University bands? You could ask at the University in that region – try the Student Union office
Bride 4 – have you ever considered a string quartet? Throw in a singer and you have a very elegant acoustic band that gives you a warm and gentle feel to the music rather than your usual ‘doof doof’.
