Although long admired, I haven’t shown much of the incredible work of designer Claire Pettibone on Polka Dot Bride before, simply because it hasn’t been  readily available in Australia. With the opening of   The Intique & Co. Boutique  in Brighton, Melbourne brides are now able to purchase these gorgeous creations in Australia. So to celebrate, I wanted to show off the beautiful “Windsor Rose” collection.

Inspired by the sweet and simple details of our history, our heirlooms, Claire has used these elements (finely knitted lace, fine bone china, golden lockets) as the basis for the beautiful creations. I love the shots of unexpected colour. The shapes and the detailing, oh the detailing is what makes me fall in love with Claire’s gowns each and every time.
