Happy Monday Dotties! I am ready to get back into another week of lovely wedding inspiration today (and a wee bit excited as Mr Polka’s ship is coming back to shore today and he’ll be home after a long time away for work!)

Our vendor of the week this lovely week is Western Australian photographer Nicolle Versteeg. Nicolle has such a dream like feeling to her photographs. From embracing golden light, to soft, ethereal processing Nicolle creates natural, beautiful imagery that captures weddings as the romantic occasions they are.

We asked Nicolle from Nicolle Versteeg Photography five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?
In winter, hot chocolate with a dash of Cointreau. In summer, a fruity wheat beer.

Your favourite weekend getaway?
Where ever the surf is. Camping in Margaret River (WA) is definitely a favourite.

Favourite restaurant?
Meeka, a Moroccan/Middle Eastern restaurant in Subiaco, Perth.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Freshly baked apple pie. Its a dutch thing. If I had it my way I would have it for breakfast every day 😉

Your favourite wedding story?
To be very honest, many stories popped in my mind. But I think my favourite story is that every wedding has its own story. I feel that over and over again it reminds me of what is really important in life. Love. Thank you to all the beautiful weddings!
