A dear friend of mine has a vision of flowers for her big day that is just too inspirational not to share with you all. Tulips! If you ask me, this beautiful bloom is completely underrated when it comes to weddings. First off, tulips are available in just about every colour! So if you want to wow your guests with eye-catching hues, why not opt for a hot pink, purple, yellow or orange tulip bouquet? If you’re a bride looking for softer tones, then white, cream or salmon coloured blooms (or a combination of these) will make for a traditional look with the twist of an non traditional flower.
Apart from looking exquisite and being available in a rainbow of colours, tulips are a fun, unique flower for your wedding day.

Ms Gingham says: I love tulips with peonies so much! I imagine that you could really go to town on colour and flower combinations.
Karen says: “I’m 25 years old and I’m an aspiring writer trapped in the body of a lawyer! I also have an Arts degree with a Major in English, which saved my sanity during university and allowed me to do what I love – write! Last but not least, I’m a bride-to-be and I’m writing a book about planning my wedding and all the craziness that comes along with it (see, for example, being told that my wedding photos will be ”deformed” because my bridal party is uneven). I’m also working on a children’s manuscript.
