I have to admit, it’s hard to impress me. After spending so many years traveling the world I’ve seen my fair share of hotels (actually, more than my fair share). So, when it comes to looking at wedding venues I have to confess, I’m a hard marker. I’ve seen the best of the best (think, The Plaza in New York, George V in Paris and Six Senses in the Maldives). So when you see me jump for joy and yell from the hilltops about a venue, you know it’s good!!
Many of you, like me, would have been shown the classic ballrooms, the garden settings, the terrace and the gazebo options… you think you’ve seen all that can be offered, and then Villa Vivante comes along!
An achingly chic property set high in the hills overlooking the Coffs Coast. This is THE venue for couples looking to host an exclusive luxury wedding. It is, in essence, a house… a big house… okay a massive mansion with five ensuite bedrooms, living areas, a professionally equipped gym, tennis court and… wait for it… a three tiered movie theatre. The glamour and lavishness of this property is just too good to not be used for romantic nuptials. Villa Vivante can host weddings of up to 95 guests, with the ceremony taking place in front of the 22 metre infinity pool and a backdrop of astonishing views.

The on-site wedding coordinator, Judy (who you must use, you can’t appoint your own) will help you plan the wedding of your dreams. She knows exactly what works and what doesn’t, where the band should play, where to put the dance floor and all the finer details of this glamorous venue. Judy can also arrange for your groom to arrive by helicopter to the ceremony. The wow-factor at Villa Vivante just doesn’t stop!

The two catering companies you can choose from (Spare Chef Catering and Fiasco Ristorante) have been a part of many weddings and special occasions here and know the state-of-the-art kitchen and granite bench top well. You can be assured that they have the service flow down pat and you can sit and enjoy your own wedding meal with no stress. When hosting your wedding at Villa Vivante a minimum booking of five nights must be made. Which may sound a lot at first, but seriously once you’re there, you will never want to leave. This also gives you the perfect excuse to enjoy some time with your bridesmaids before the wedding and call in Liz from Skin Bliss for a massage, facial or mani pedi spa day and then enjoy a wedding movie marathon in your private theatrette.

Villa Vivante has grandeur and opulence usually reserved for the rich and famous, it’s quintessentially European, exquisite and stylish. Villa Vivante is for the discerning couple, it takes you beyond the ordinary wedding.
