Adam and I met in high school, but it wasn’t until we graduated that we got together. After 10 years of adventures together Adam asked me to marry him on a romantic evening under Sydney’s Harbour Bridge.

Being part of the design team at Dandi, I knew that when it came to organizing the Wedding the details would count. I was keen to find a photographer who captured the same sense of fun, love and light that I inject into my own design.

We first saw White Fluffy Cloud photography on Polka Dot Bride. We felt like their images spoke to us – they seemed the perfect fit for us as a couple. Casual and elegant, beautiful and understated – we think Leisa captured us so well – we are SO excited about getting our wedding photos taken in October now!”

In planning the shoot, we thought it would be a wonderful way to get to know Leisa before our big day – so an engagement shoot seemed like the perfect trial. The bonus being that you get pretty photos of yourselves! With this in mind, the inspiration was to create a vintage picnic using lots a props which are near and dear to us. I am a lover and collector of all things vintage, and we both enjoy the outdoors immensely.

The blankets are both tablecloths, one is vintage the other is from Dandi’s Luxe Linen Lilly Pilly range. The teacups are from both our grandmothers – they both had an extensive collection which we inherited and cherish.

Shakespeare’s Sonnets and A Lovers Complaint, a present from Adam to me a few years ago.

My hair accessories are from Equip.

The cupcakes and macarons are from Cupcakes on Pitt , plates from Mud – their stuff is exquisite – both precious and durable!

Leisa made us feel so comfortable and happy – we were giggling the whole way home and talking about how much fun it was.  We’ve been together since the end of high school and never done anything like that before so it was really nice to both enjoy it together, and I guess ‘practice’ for the big day.
