Here are my (possibly slightly biased) thoughts on the best wedding venue ever!

My now-husband and I fell in love with the idea of having our wedding at the State Library of South Australia as soon as we saw it. We looked at a couple of other venues (just because we felt we should) but kept coming back to the Library.

We exchanged our vows in the bright and airy Institute Room before moving on to the ornate and atmospheric grandeur of the Victorian-era Mortlock Chamber for our reception. The award-winning contemporary catering by Epicure was a real highlight and the coordinator Patti Sbrissa was so helpful and professional throughout the whole process.

We received SO many compliments from our guests on how wonderful our wedding venue and catering was. I couldn’t recommend The State Library highly enough for anyone looking for a wedding venue with old world charm in central Adelaide.

Ms Gingham says: Such a beautiful venue. I can only imagine what it would be like to get married here! Thanks for sharing this Alicia.
