– Generous flower arrangements (think Marie Antoinette!) bursting out of the unusual places – half open console drawers, over archways, along balustrades, from old metal garden urns, from bird baths, bird cages
– Pewter, silver, soft bronze, pearlised things, capiz shell
– Sugared almonds, pink champagne, pink hued cocktails, pink ice cream, Turkish delight, dusty pink lollipops, cupcakes iced and dusted with glittery sugar, iced Vovo biscuits, French macaroons
– The clean modern look of lots of silver in candelabra, plain silver containers, silver edged crockery and glasses, softened with voluptuous vases of creamy and dusty pink roses, creamy linen, silver, clear or white chairs, white candles
– Fans, lace edged handkerchiefs, hats with veils, lace gloves
– For your bridesmaids, shoes covered in beautiful dusty rose patterned fabric, match up a pocket handkerchief for the boys and add a plain tie

as someone getting married in a week in a ‘blush’ dress (basically nude pink), I agree it IS a lovely colour…but try accessorising! Better still – try finding a blush birdcage veil! I gave up as nothing worked. There is just not enough of this colour out there and while white looks nice accompanying it in a floral arrangement, it just doesn’t work with a dress. LOVE that flower you have a photo of though!
I do love this color. It is a great color that will go with just about any other color you could think of. I love the flower arrangement shown in the photos.

thank you for the wonderful colour blend ideas.i am having a victorian style wedding with a french flavour (honeymoon in Paris)at Abbey of The Roses in March 2011. i need to hurry and finish the details…using a brilliant colour wheel i have selected soft grey mens suits to match my pink champagne bridesmaids and a flowergirl in a victorian rose colour. They will carry sweet peas in delicate colours, and i will carry david austin roses in gentle hues. as the bride i have chosen an antique lace and beaded ivory gown designed by the brilliant inspirational Ann at Strictly Bridal.cant wait.i need another accent colour though…(??)Amazingly, before reading this post, i had selected old postcards (of french landmarks) birdcages and pearlized soft gold/bronze tealight holders, sugared almonds for the champagne and white tables, , french macaroons and lace gloves!!! are you reading my mind??(smile)
