Hi, my wedding date is the 11th of September, 2010.
The most creative touch we are having on our wedding day is the groomsmen and bridesmaids gifts.
The groomsmen are having lego cufflinks to match the bridesmaids shoes (which will all be different colours), and the bridesmaids will be wearing plastic teacup rings.
Our wedding date is May 28th, 2011 – awhile away I know!
I’ve been getting creative with blackboards and other props for our reception. But also, using etsy stores for fun props to use in photos like ‘Mr and Mrs’ signs – a bit of fun rather than formal posing!
Our wedding is the 8th of May 2010 (very soon!)
I have hand made everything myself – the menus, placecards, order of service booklet covers, invitations, seating plans, thank you cards. I was creative by using fancy border punches, matching colours (ivory, chocolate brown & dusty pink), gluing hundreds of tiny diamontes on and I think they look great!
Our wedding date is 1 May 2010.
The most creative touch we are having is organising a Balinese dancer to perform at the start of our reception as recognition of my mum’s (and my) cultural background (it’s also going to be a complete surprise for her). I’ve also hand sewn batik program covers 🙂
Our wedding date is October 2, 2010 in Byron Bay
It is important to us to incorporate everyone invited in the wedding. For that reason all guests will receive a flower (women) and buttonhole for the (men). We want everyone to know that for us to get to this day we needed all our friends and family – they are our bridal party. Also I am a food writer so I have been secretly asking each guest what their all time favourite food or meal is and then writing them a recipe based on their response. It is also a nice touch for us to have a collection/book of recipes from our wedding that we can cook from knowing that it is a favourite of the people we care about.
Hi our wedding will be held this year in Brisbane on 20 November 2010.
I am planning lots of handmade DIY touches including, lace/paper doily covered votives, paper crane placeholders, pinwheels and clusters of vintage bottles and glasses for flowers for the tables.
Hi!
Our wedding is being held 15th April 2010 and the most creative thing we are planning to do is forego a bridal table and have the bridal party sitting WITH our guests… it adds a personal touch to an intimate family reception.
We’ve just created our ‘save the dates’ which my fiance designed and I think they’re pretty creative too… they have a picture of a miniture horse (that lives two doors down from us in suburban Northgate!!) and it says
“no horsing around, you’re invited… so save our date!”
Kate
Hello, our wedding date is the 11th of December.
We are having an Alice in wonderland themed high tea party. We are making and organizing everything ourselves so we will be crazy busy planning for the next few months making it exotic and beautiful like nothing else…
We are also having a photo-booth so our guests can take photo’s and we our having an album were guests can leave these photo’s and comments as our guest book.
we are currently starting our theme now by sending out a photo strip of photo’s of us with our wedding details, for our save the date.
wow…these wedding flower looks awesome. They are the success indicator of happy married life
Our wedding will be on the 21st August 2010. In terms of creativity, we’re trying to do things differently. We’re having Emily Jade from triple M as our marriage celebrant. Immediately after the outdoor ceremony we’re holding a cocktail lunch reception, followed by a tea ceremony (to honour my asian heritage) as well as a sit down dinner reception where there will be a photo booth and possibly a cigar girl / waitress !!
Our wedding is the 15th October, 2010.
We (my bridesmaids and groom-to-be included) are making as much of the things for the day as possible. The dresses… The invitations… the guest favours, bridal party gifts and gifts to each other… With the exception of suits and rings, I’d like to think we’re making it all, though of course we can still make these things ‘ours.’
Nice flowers
Our wedding date is 2 October, 2010.
I have 5 special men who have impacted on my life (3 brothers, Stepdad and Pop), so I wanted to include them all in giving me away. They will be staggered down the pathway leading up to our garden wedding “aisle”, each with a few flowers in hand. As I walk with each of them, they will hand me their flowers so that by the time I get to my “husband-to-be”, I have a large bunch of flowers. Then my husband will tie a ribbon around my bouquet before the ceremony begins!
Amazing creative planning details girls. 🙂
We’re incorporating a lot of creative details in our wedding – handmade invitations, lolly bar, our own decorations – but by far the most creative touch will be my wedding dress. My mum and I are designing it, and my mum will be making it. It’s a chance for us to go nuts and create a beautiful dream dress, without breaking the bank. I’m so lucky to have such a talented mum!
(Wedding date 13 November 2010)
Our wedding date is 19 November 2010
We are designing the wedding stationery ourselves and asking everyone to submit with their rsvp their all-time favourite dance tune – to be played on the night.
Our wedding date is 23 October 2010.
We are incorporating Polish aspects to honour my fiance’s parent’s background, including a vodka toast and a Polish reading. Our stationary, including invites, menus etc will all be DIY and I am making the cupcakes for our cupcake tower…something I am yet to try so wish me luck!
Our wedding is on 20 November 2010.
One creative touch we’re incorporating are to design all of our stationary including our invitations which will be printed on beautiful Japanese paper that we bought while on holiday in Japan shortly after we got engaged.
I actually think that the most creative touch we’re incorporating is one we’re paying for – our photographer! (http://www.lakshalperera.com/)
Our wedding date is 23 October 2010
The creative touch that will have the most influence on our wedding is my dress: I’ll be wearing a recreation of my grandmother’s exquisite 1930s wedding dress. This has influenced just about everything, even the wedding favours, which will be ‘soundtrack to our wedding’ mixtapes specially created for each guest, and featuring some brilliant 1930s remixes we’ve found
Hi Polka Dot Bride!
Our creative wedding touch involves native seeded wedding invitations (so our guests can plant them after the wedding. As our wedding is in July, 2011 we’d like to give our guests slippers – so that they can relax their feet and dance in comfort.
Cheers!
These flowers are really different! Beautiful!
Our wedding will be July 17th 2010.
The most creative things about our wedding is place cards that double as a personalused, handwritten notes to each guest thanking them for their contribution to our lives together thud far.
Hello there,
Gerard and myself are getting married @ Brookfield Hall (Brisbane) on Oct 2nd.
One of our creative touches would have to be the delicious homemade mango sauce that will be incorporated into our menu. They were hand picked from mango trees I helped plant with my family when I was a child. I have done this as my family property is a long way away and would be to far for people to travel too. So I thought I would bring a slice of home to our special day instead.
Hello!
We’re getting married on the 26 March 2011.
One of the creative touches we’re planning is the use of fresh coffee beans to complement our cream & latte colour scheme. They’ll be used in the table centerpieces not only providing colour, but making the entire room smell amazing!
From then on, hopefully the smell of fresh coffee will remind our guests of the fun time they had at our wedding.
We are getting married in April 2011.
April 22, 2008 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and on April 22, 2011 we will be married in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We really wanted to turn that day into a celebration. A celebration of life. A way to thank our friends and family for their constant love and support.
Thank you for you consideration.
We will be marrid on April 22, 2011.
Three years prior, on April 22, 2008 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. That was a day that our world stopped. We grew and learned so much during those years.
We decided this was a day to celebrate life. A day to enter the next chapter of our lives. We want to thank our friends and family for their constant love and support. We can’t wait!
Thank you for your consideration.
My first husband passed away for cancer in 2002. We had our wedding day on the 22 of June (it was the longest day light of a year in Europe)… But life goes by and here we go… I met my other darling… Our wedding day is on the 22 of December (it is the longest day light of a year in Australia).
Thank you for this opportunity to win your flowers!
