Michelle and Jarvis
Today’s wedding of Michelle and Jarvis was obviously so eager to show itself to the world it published a little early, so today I’m thrilled to bring it to you for good!
The couple married on a now historical Melbourne day – Black Saturday, where the temperature reached 48 degrees Celsius (that’s 118.4F).
Although the couple wed on what was one of Australia’s most tragic (and hottest) days, the heat didn’t bother the couple and they were determined to have the best day of their lives!
Michelle and Jarvis chose to have a classically elegant wedding with greens, white and chocolate brown as their colour palette. It’s a beautifully traditional wedding and so reflective of the couple!
Photos today are by Samuel Lindsay Photography and Wayne Quillam Photography
The couple’s invitations were designed by Michelle and made with the help of Red Shandy Designs. Florist Kate Hill created orbs of flowers – each flower was individually wired into the sphere shape.
Michelle wore her mother’s veil and adorned it with lace. Michelle’s gown was by San Patrick for Provonias while her bridesmaids wore green tea length gowns.
The couple were married at St Monica’s Church in Moonee Ponds.
Just married!
Check back later today for Michelle and Jarvis’ steaming hot (literally) reception and the great first dance they had!
