The two winners of the double passes to this weekend’s Melbourne Bride Magazine bridal expo are

“My absolute favourite wedding movie is 27 dresses. Although the whole movie pretty much slams the idea of the over-the-top wedding, the moment Jane looks at Kevin when she walks up the aisle at their own wedding just turns me into a ball of tears. I can’t wait to see my future husband look at me like that on our special day! (Of course, I’d never dress my bridesmaids so dreadfully)”

“Love actually.

The best wedding scene from the movie was at the beginning of Love Actually when the groom’s best friend arranges to have live horns playing in the balcony of the church at the end of the ceremony as a surprise to the bride and groom. That was the most beautiful gesture of true friendship because he went above and beyond the call of a Best Man and put his own feelings aside (he was in love with the with the bride). The entire movie was engaging because all the men stepped out of their comfort zones and went after the women they loved – just like my fiancé did for me! That’s romance.”
