I’m a big fan of Sex and The City and can’t wait to see the new movie. Sex and The City always managed to have beautiful weddings- from the events in the Hamptons to Charlotte walking down the aisle in Badgley Mischka.

I remember one of the first weddings had Carrie read a poem at the reception. Of course her apparent tears of joy for the couple are more about Mr Big but the reading is still lovely and very apt for a wedding! The reading can be found in Season Two, Episode 19 ‘The Chicken Dance’.

His hello was the end of her endings
Her laugh was their first step down the aisle
His hand would be hers to hold forever
His forever was as simple as her smile
He said she was what was missing
She said instantly she knew
She was a question to be answered
And his answer was “I do”
