So you’ve decided to take the plunge. You’ve found the dress. Decided on the cake and where you want to celebrate afterwards. But what about the Ceremony, and the person who’s going to make it legal and legit? That’s where I come in.
My name is Shannon Fleming and I am a Marriage Celebrant approved by the Attorney Generals’ Department to conduct Marriage, Commitment and Civil Ceremonies throughout Australia.
I’m a bit of an alternative to the ‘average celebrant’ and boring isn’t in my vocabulary. Your wedding day should be relaxing, fun and one you will remember and I’ll do my absolute best to make that happen!
Being a Celebrant’s more than just about the legalities of the day, it’s about having an understanding of the Couple, who they are, and what is important to them. You don’t have to stick to the norm with all the frills and over the top things, but if you want to, that’s ok too.
This Marriage business is a pretty important decision, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Stop, think, listen and discuss, however just because it is serious, doesn’t mean that on your special day you have to be. You can laugh during the ceremony wherever it may be!
