There is something instinctive about the way we look to the night sky, searching for the beauty or vastness of space. The Luminaire Collection is born from that same cosmic magnificence. Hera Couture‘s Fall / Winter collection is a study in contrast, from flowing fabrics to the stunning structures.

Drawing from galaxies, star systems and lunar phases, Luminaire reimagines celestial wonder through the language of modern wedding design. Each gown balances architectural precision with luminous, intimate detailing.

Captured by photographer Ruby Jayne against the elegance of Mantells Mt Eden, the collection unfolds like the deep expanse of the night sky. Under the direction of shoot producer Laura Chittock, every frame feels atmospheric and full of light. Hair and Makeup Artist Chanelle Aldridge enhances the otherworldly feel with model Juliette Perkin‘s look.

Named after our neighbouring galaxy, Andromeda has as much softness as motion. The design reminds us of drifting stardust, crafted from ornate Guipure lace with a pearlescent sheen. The Orion gown embodies its namesake constellation, with clean lines and the beautiful cloud-like ball gown. There are also multiple gowns named after the moonphases, with Crescent and Eclipse as two of our favourites.

At its heart, Luminaire is created for those who shine from within. Soft yet still structured, these gowns don’t overpower – they illuminate. Like the constellations that inspired them, they remind us that even in the vastness, there is breathtaking beauty waiting to be seen! Take a scroll through the collection below.
