Whether your December is filled with parties, proposals or a little bit of both, we thought it was high time to bring back our beloved Cocktail Friday. So, what better way to kick things off than with a fruity, festive sip from Melbourne’s Jin Bar, the kind of drink that practically toasts itself.
You know we love cocktails, cake and making merry with loved ones. Happily, the festive season and weddings have these things in common! Whether you’re planning on popping the question on Christmas morning, surprising the family with a December engagement announcement over a turkey lunch or even eloping on NYE; this fruity little cocktail by Jin Bar in Melbourne will be a memorable addition to the occasion.
We recommend using a local Christmas gin like one from Four Pillars, McHenry’s or Here’s Looking at You Kid to make this taste even more festive!
‘Have Yourself a Berry Little Christmas’ cocktail by Jin Bar
30ml gin
10ml dry vermouth
15ml strawberry syrup
10ml lychee syrup
10ml cranberry syrup
5ml lemon juice
2 drops Wonderfoam
1 sprig rosemary
Add gin, dry vermouth, strawberry syrup, lychee syrup, cranberry syrup and fresh lemon juice to shaker and dry shake (without ice) first. Then add ice, 2 drops of Wonderfoam and shake for 10 seconds. Pour into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with fresh rosemary.
